The majority of people fly into Japan through Narita/Tokyo. Some are arriving through Hanada/Tokyo nowadays, depending on who you are flying with, and sometimes through Osaka international airport in the Kansai region .
Our suggestion is to get to Hakuba the easiest, fastest and most stress free possible way, as you may be tired and no doubt eager to start your holiday and get on the slopes as soon as possible.
So allow us to take care of all your transfer needs.
We recommend Chuo taxi shuttle bus ¥15,900 plus ¥1,000 per ski /board bag.
Alternatively, as part of your package, we will come down personally and pick you up in our 10 seater mini bus. We will transport your gear and your group back to Hakuba in your own time and in your own space from the airport or your hotel (please ask for details).
Usually the drive trip from Narita or Hanada to Hakuba is 4 to 5 hours.
Once your stay in Hakuba has come to an end, why not be adventurous and try getting the Shinkansen (bullet train) back from Nagano to Tokyo or to your next destination in Japan.
Let us help you organize this.
Please note the Shinkansen does not go from Hakuba direct to the airport as some people may let you believe! There are other buses and trains needed in between !
If your keen to do it yourself please look at Hyperdia for travel times and costs within Japan.
Also if your going to travel by rail extensively throughout Japan why not think about a JR pass.
